I always knew Cupid was in it with the stork!

Keen eyed reader Fannypants found that the elves who run the nursery at the stork baby delivery service use the same baby washing methods as Old King Cole – even down to the stapler!  Must have been an 1930′s thing.

And remember boys and girls, putting the baby in the freezer won’t turn him into a eskimo – this video is make believe…..

Hilarity ensues when Old King Cole marries the Little Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. My favorite part is the stapling of the diapers – what dad hasn’t been tempted to throw a staple or two in there when the little velcro tabs break off on you?

Note to self – remove Betty Boop from our babysitters list…

Bugs Bunny finds a baby on his doorstep, but there’s more than meets the eye.

Sometimes it helps to get all of your ducks in a row.  But if the duck is Baby Huey there’s no need – he’s bound to get in a row wherever he goes.

Probably the most famous cartoon babies evah! I love this one as it’s before they started doing crazy things like “All Grown Up”. I only wish I knew if the babies ever made it to Mirrorland – I hate to be left hanging.

This was one of my favorites growing up – it was dark and sometimes sinister and has a dude running around in a loincloth – what’s better than that?  And who didn’t wish that their mean parents who made them clean their rooms and eat broccoli would dissapear so they could be raised by apes who would let them run around and swing on vines all day.
