this is why despite my husband not understandig I ALWAYS saved the diapers that no longer fit (you know that 3/4 of a package in the size that baby grew out of overnight)

Actually, this is also why I always INSISTED on keeping up on the diaper stocks, despite husband complaining, “Hey we’ve got like 10 left in the package why the rush?” If you only knew honey, if you only knew.
LOL Metz that is so true.
We also always had a stash of Cloth Diapers that came in handy many many times.
