A husband’s idea of keeping an eye on the baby. The woman sees a safety hazard of the finger-losing kind. The man sees Edison-like ingenuity. We see grass that’s less than knee high and wonder if you could mount a Corgi to a lawnmower. What do you see, Kimberly V?

If he’s just going to drive around the yard then it could be fun, but if he actually plans to mow with the kid on the back then somebody had better call child protective services. Sticks and stones can fly out of the lawnmower mechanism and seriously injure the adult sitting on top, not to mention the kid hanging off the back in a much more precarious place relative to the blades.

Posted by: fannypants on September 22nd, 2007 at 4:36 pmHa ha–I don’t know what “vintage” really means, but that baby is 8 years old now. He was about 18 months old when the pix was taken and he was never injured and we have never had CPS at our house!

Wow Real men ride riding mowers. This is very cute. Looks like a farm picture to me if ever I saw one. and reminds me of riding on the tractor with my grandpa 40 + Years ago.
