So here’s how it goes. Babies face off in a crying contest – sumos hold opposing babies and try and get them to cry. The first to cry wins. Why, you ask – it’s supposedly good for the baby’s health. With Japanese live an average of 10 years longer than Americans, I’m not going to widen the gap by arguing with a sumo!
